You just need to pay listing to the lyrics, and you can tell that hip-hop is about things that go against ideals, stigmas,societies. Though I still don't understand if this the reason that they transform from a subculture to today mainstream culture. In this blog we will fall apart what hip hop is all about. Yes you can say that they promote, violence, drugs, sexual objectification, alcohol.. but do they? is that all about?
